Use the Strength of Your Experience! Become a Certified Peer!
A Certified Peer is an individual who has lived experience with a substance use disorder, a mental health condition, or a major life disruption, who has made progress in their own recovery and has completed specialized training qualifying them to help others in their recovery. Healthy Capital District is now offering training and support for those interested in becoming Certified Peer Specialists (CPS-P) or Certified Peer Recovery Advocates (CRPA-P)! Not only do we provide a guided, engaging process to ensure that you complete the modules necessary for certification, we also offer 3 months of ongoing support following the conclusion of class!
We are dedicated to your success! Learn more about the various Certified Peer roles here. To enroll in our upcoming Certified Peer Specialist (CPS-P) and Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA-P) Training Programs, visit us on Eventbrite.
